The IMPRS-FMD is a collaboration between four Universities and the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces. The four Universities are the University of Potsdam, the Free University Berlin, the Humboldt University Berlin, and the Technical University Berlin.
These five institutions provide the funding, the laboratories and the supervision capacities of the IMPRS-FMD.
The main governing body of the IMPRS-FMD is the Executive Committee made by the Speaker, vice-Speaker, Coordinator, five representatives of the collaborating institutions, and two doctoral students representatives.
All projects and doctoral students are supervised by the Teaching Faculty and the Associate Faculty.
