I am heading the group of Hybrid Nanostructures and our research is focused on hybrid DNA and metal nanostructures to be used for optical spectroscopy and plasmonic catalysis. We are designing nanostructures for single-molecule surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), fluorescence-based sensing and for fundamental spectroscopic studies. Furthermore, we use plasmonic metal nanoparticles to study light-induced chemical transformations.
